Georgia Implements Phase 1 of Disaster SNAP in Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, Liberty, and Long Counties

Georgia families affected by Hurricane Helene can now pre-register for D-SNAP, a temporary program offering food assistance to those who’ve suffered losses. Starting October 21, Phase 1 of the program will roll out in coastal counties, with future phases covering more areas impacted by the disaster. Bulloch, Evans and Candler are in Phase 4 which will be Nov. 18, 2024, through Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024.
