The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) announced that the construction of the new roundabout at the intersection of Langston Chapel Road and Harville Road in Bulloch County has been completed ahead of the delayed schedule. Crews are have removed the barricades, and the roundabout is now open.

The project, which was originally slated to open next week, is now accessible to motorists four days earlier than expected. GDOT credits this early completion to the dedicated work of their teams and contractor J.A. Long, who managed to stay on track despite the challenges posed by two recent major weather events.

Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through this area as drivers adapt to the new traffic pattern. GDOT emphasized that this roundabout will improve traffic flow and safety at the busy intersection, showcasing their commitment to the community.
