Positive Childhood Alliance Bulloch (formerly Prevent Child Abuse Bulloch County) and United Way of Southeast Georgia are once again teaming up for the 11th Annual Stuff the Bus Back to School Supply Drive. This long-standing partnership helps ensure that every child in Bulloch County starts the school year with the supplies they need to succeed.
“With community support for this year’s school supply drive, we can make sure that all students have the necessary school supplies for a successful school year,” said Lora Cooper, Executive Director of Positive Childhood Alliance Bulloch.
The two organizations work to gather, sort and deliver school supplies directly to each public elementary, middle, and high school for discreet distribution to children in need by school staff.
“Georgia ranks 39th in the nation for child and family well-being according to the 2025 Kids Count® study,” Cooper added. “This drive is a tangible way our community can work together to improve outcomes for children and families here in Bulloch County.”
Carey Cassedy, Executive Director of United Way of Southeast Georgia, echoed that message: “When we invest in our children, we invest in the future of our entire community. Stuff the Bus is more than just school supplies—it’s about giving every child the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. We’re grateful to all who give so generously and invite everyone to be part of this effort to uplift local families.”
