The donation will support training and education efforts for students in corrections facilities in Bulloch and Screven counties

The annual Reggie Dawson Memorial Math Tournament was held on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Statesboro High School. The tournament was named for a former Statesboro High School educator whose life and career were cut tragically short when he lost his battle with cancer in 2010.  

The 2023 EAGLE Leadership Institute, a three-day event held March 1-3, recognizes and honors students who have demonstrated superior achievement in adult education classes and programs.

Participants will travel some of the actual roads traversed by Sherman's soldiers and defended by Confederate troops, see several camp sites actually used by the General, and visit Antebellum plantation sites.

Southeast Bulloch received honors as an Advanced Placement Expansion School for achieving at least a 25% growth in the number of students who participated in courses

Georgia Southern University has ranked in the top providers nationally for degrees conferred to diverse students among higher education institutions.

Youth Council members must be students in grades six through 12 at the time of selection and reside or attend a school within Bulloch County

In the role, Smith will provide leadership and strategic focus to further the college’s development, alumni relations, marketing communications, and engagement
