The Kappa Zeta Chapter of Kappa Sigma at Georgia Southern will host the run on campus with proceeds going to the Statesboro Fire Department.

The Georgia Ranch Horse Association (GRHA) is gearing up for an action-packed weekend at the Bulloch County Ag Complex in Statesboro. Equestrians from across the region will compete in a variety of ranch horse events September 6-8, showcasing their skills and horsemanship.

Synovus branches in Statesboro are accepting donations of peanut butter and jelly for the Statesboro Food Bank throughout the month of September.

SPD will host the six-week long course on topics such as patrol, traffic enforcement, investigation, and special operations. Applications are due by September 17.

The Statesboro Exchange Club held their 7th annual Strike Out Child Abuse Bowling Tournament and a silent auction on August 22. All proceeds from the event go toward Child Abuse Prevention Projects.

Juneteenth Bulloch will host a BBQ competition and 3-on-3 basketball tournament on Saturday, September 14, to raise funds for community youth programming and the annual Juneteenth Celebration.

The Statesboro Village Builders will host a free Family Fun Resource Day at Pinewood Manor on Packinghouse Road this Saturday, August 31, from 10am until 1:30pm. Come out for free food, free books, door prizes, and lots of helpful information about resources available to our community.

The Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University hosted an extraordinary "Hops and Hawgs" event on August 22, drawing an enthusiastic, sold-out crowd and delivering an unforgettable evening of great live music, delectable food, and refreshing beers.
