Annual production to take place at the Georgia Southern Performing Arts Center Sunday, December 2, 2018 Artistic Director Shay Morgan is excited to announce the 7th annual production of S tatesboro School of Dance’s ‘Nutcracker’ Ballet.

For an entire year the Feed the Boro Committee , led by Don Poe, has been planning for its largest event of the year, providing Thanksgiving lunch to thousands.

Cross Tribute Began Years Ago Around sixteen years ago, beautiful crosses appeared on Memorial Day. The white wooden crosses listed soldier’s names who were killed in the line of duty and the war they were killed in.

Saturday Morning, November 11th the community program honoring our Veteran’s was held at the Emma Kelly Theater in downtown Statesboro. The program was coordinated by Don Foglio, Senior Vice Commander, U.S. Army Dexter Allen Post #90.

Veterans Day, November 11th falls on Sunday this year so the community began celebrating Thursday night and will continue with celebrations through Monday.
