The Statesboro-Bulloch County Breast Cancer Foundation ( SBCBCF ) is hosting a Virtual 5K Pink Power Run that started Monday, August 17, 2020, through Saturday, October 17, 2020.

Effective immediately, planning and preparation for the 59th Annual Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair has ceased. On Wednesday, August 12, 2020, the Kiwanis Club of Statesboro’s fair committee voted unanimously to cancel the 59th Annual Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair.

The City of Statesboro put together a small, impromptu “parade” to honor, recognize and show their gratitude to local educators, including teachers, bus drivers and school staff as they begin a new school year on Monday, August 17th.

Last Friday, July 31, Bulloch County Schools ended its Feed-A-Kid program that was launched on March 17, in response to school closures due to COVID-19. However, a 1,000 family food drop is scheduled for August 8th.
