This week, Statesboro Magazine editor Jenny Starling Foss and contributing photographer Frank Fortune presented a video entitled, “Looking Back at Statesboro Magazine,” as part of the Bulloch County Historical Society 's monthly meeting.

This week, work-based learning professionals from Bulloch County Schools invited local leaders to learn more about the program and hear testimonials from current participants. The event was hosted by the Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber of Commerce.

Thursday evening, local banker and philanthropist Trish Tootle was named “Kiwanian of the Year” by the Kiwanis Club of Statesboro . The announcement was made during the club’s 62nd annual awards dinner.

The Statesboro Jaycees celebrated their 2021 Year End Awards Banquet on February 5, 2022. Members and their guests gathered for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres followed by dinner at Bull and Barrel Steakhouse.

The Epsilon Pi chapter of Alpha Delta Pi (ADPi) sorority will host its inaugural Princesses, Princes, & Pis Royal Balls philanthropy event Saturday, March 5, 10 a.m. to noon and 2-4 p.m. Both royal balls will be held at the ADPi house.

The Georgia Southern theatre is getting ready for its first performance of the semester, Our Town, directed by Sarah McCarroll premiering Wednesday, February 23, 2022 and running till Sunday, February 27, 2022.

In the daily COVID report EGRMC has 14 COVID patients in the hospital today. 5 EGRMC patients are sick enough to require vents. EGRMC ICU capacity is very high at 99%. These are not all COVID patients but patients with high acuity.
