Statesboro's Robin Turner will officially launch her new book, "The Unexpected Journey," on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Divine Deliverance Worship Center's Phillips Hall.
The event is free and open to the public, offering a chance to meet Turner, purchase her book, and have it signed.
"The Unexpected Journey" chronicles Turner and her late husband, Napolean Phillips', experiences navigating numerous challenging circumstances. Written as a testament to their battles and the lessons learned through faith, the book offers a powerful message of resilience and trust in God.
Phillips tragically lost his life in a traffic accident in 2014, and the book serves as an opportunity to remember Mr. Phillips as an inspiration for the journey of faith he shared with his wife.
"'The Unexpected Journey' is truly a hills and valleys testimony," Turner shared.
