During playoff season, you know that the tension is high, and the emotions are showing. That was shown at the November 8th football showdown between the Gators and Vikings. The Vikings fought back, but it was no match for the power of them Gators, now 10 and 0, chompin' away to get to the next round of the playoffs. They will take on Brookstone from Columbus next Friday night, November 15th.

Portal picked up their 4th win of the season in the final game. Head Coach Jason McEachin met with his guys for one last time. "We got to end the season the way we wanted to, with a win," McEachin said. "Not everyone can close out the season with a W."  Portal ends their season with 4 wins and 6 losses.

Statesboro STEAM's Isaac Brooks and Kaedin Caine will head to Carrollton this weekend for the GHSA Cross Country State Championships. Both are appreciative of all support they’ve received this season.

The duo earned spots on the second team with Sunday's release of the 2024 All-Conference teams.

The Southeast Bulloch Softball team has 5 players that will play in the 2025 FCA All Star game. The game is scheduled to take place on Thursday, but its status is in the air due to weather conditions.

Chris Davis was introduced as the new Georgia Southern Athletic Director for Georgia Southern on Monday, November 4th, at the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center.

Adante' Holiman scores 19 and knocks down a career-high tying five threes in the win. The Eagles are on the road for their next matchup, taking on UNCW on Friday.

Georgia Southern earned a MAC/SBC Challenge win on opening night to make new head coach Hana Haden a winner in her Eagle debut.
