The Panthers fell to the New Hampstead Phoenix in a Saturday afternoon matchup, 72-63.

This win gives the Yellow Jackets a new record of 81-1 overall since the program started, and puts them in a position to vie for their fourth consecutive state title. The Jackets will be in action on Monday, December 16, at 12 pm against the Columbus Blue Devils.

SEB's Marissa Waters, Paige Nelson, and Megan Newham have been recognized for their play during this past softball season. They have been selected for the All-State team.

The Bulloch Academy Cheer Team won the State Championship for 2024 Game Day Cheer. This makes the 2nd state title for Bulloch Academy athletics during the fall sports season.

With the 2024 football season wrapped up, the coaches of the different regions came together to select the players that they felt were the best. All 4 teams in Bulloch county had several players be recognized for their play on the field this year.

The Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets will be facing the Dodge County in the Final Four on Thursday, December 12, in Eastman for the 2024-25 GHSA Division 1 State Championship Playoffs. A win over Dodge would send SEB to Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta for the Division 1 state championship game at noon Monday, Dec. 16 against either Long County or Columbus.

The Savannah Bridge Run is an iconic event that takes place every year at the Talmadge Memorial Bridge. This year, a few folks from Statesboro made the short ride down to Savannah to compete in the 5k and 10k races and came out on top!

Bulloch County is being well represented by some students athletes who decided to continue their playing days. They went from playing in the Friday night lights to competing for national championships. Georgia Military College will face Hutchinson Community College on Sunday, December 8th at 3:30pm in Milledgeville.
