Georgia Southern junior men's golfer Parker Claxton has been named an NCAA Division I PING All-Region honoree, as announced Saturday by the GCAA. Players across six regions and 82 schools earned all-region honors in 2025 and advance to the ballot for PING All-America plaudits. It's the first time Claxton has earned the honor.
Claxton held a season scoring average of 71.49, coming in 35 rounds, which was the 15th-lowest in program history. He took runner-up honors at the Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate, shooting a 208 (-8) and tied for third at the Schenkel Invitational with a 210 (-6).
The Claxton, Georgia, native recorded three top-five finishes and seven top-20 finishes and shot par or better in 16 rounds and six tournaments. He tallied 107 birdies, along with three eagles and 400 pars, all team highs.
The first-team All-Sun Belt honoree finished T18 at the Sun Belt Championship, his third top-20 finish in as many years at the event and tied for 20th at the NCAA Auburn Regional as an individual selection.
