Despite a 30-point output from Tyren Moore, Georgia Southern couldn't muster a victory over UNCW on Saturday, falling 82-77 at Hanner Fieldhouse.

The Eagles (0-11) battled back from a pair of big deficits, but the Seahawks (8-2) managed both and came out victorious.

Falling behind by ten early on, the home team chipped away with a 7-0 run. Moore fought for a layup and followed with a go-ahead three-pointer as the Eagles held a 24-22 advantage.

After going back in front, UNCW hit a three-pointer before halftime to make the deficit five heading into the locker room.

UNCW stretched its lead to as much as 12, but yet another GS run, this time a 15-4 spread, brought the Eagles back in front. Moore hit another go-ahead three to take a 66-64 lead.

However, the Seahawks outscored the Eagles 18-11 over the final four minutes, pulling out an 82-77 win.

Moore scored 30 for the second-straight home game, shooting 10-15 from the field and 4-5 from deep. Eren Banks' 15 were a new career-best. Derrick Harris Jr. also reached double digits with 10.

The Eagles shot 49 percent overall in the loss and outrebounded UNCW.
