Friends, family, co-workers and community members came out last week to honor Bulloch County's longest serving employee Sheryl Hagan. She has worked at the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office her entire career. Read about her journey and watch a video of remarks from her reception.

Grice Connect Senior Reporter Michele LeBlank saw first hand the blessings Christmas gifts to our Senior Adults made possible by the generosity of so many. Many of these Senior Adults would not have received anything for Christmas had it not been for the generosity of strangers.

We all know about visiting the Splash in the Boro waterpark during the summer for fun in the sun. But did you know they offer aquatic and exercise programs year-round in their heated pools? Michele visited Splash to hear more about their low impact, warm water options that are great for seniors -- or anyone!

The First Baptist Statesboro worship choir, orchestra, and kids' choir will present a special holiday production on Sunday, December 10.

If you visit Old Fellowship Baptist Church in Stilson on any given Sunday, you will find Etta Anne (Akins) Groover seated at the organ, where she has dutifully played for more than 55 years. Described by her family as selfless and committed to living her faith, Etta Anne provides not only beautiful music but also a steadfast presence at Old Fellowship.
