Mr. Julius David Hayes, 74, of Sylvania, GA, passed away at East Georgia Regional Medical Center, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 6:30 AM.
David was born on June 16, 1950 to Julius O. Hayes and Mary Juanita Beale Bragg in Savannah, GA. He enjoyed fishing, all types of music and travelling. He was also known to be tech savvy, being very knowledgeable with computers, sound systems, and electronics. Julius also had a green thumb, and enjoyed planting and tending to his flower garden each year. Most of all he loved his family and helping others. He was a member of Rocky Ford United Methodist Church, where he was involved with serving the Lord.
He is survived by his sister, Jeane Sturdivant; brothers, Alan (Janice) Bragg and Ricky (Teresa) Bragg; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother-in-law Jimmy Sturdivant and a special nephew, Jamie Lee.
