Bulloch History | Old Hotels and Auto Courts in Statesboro
Thanks to McCook's Pharmacy for making Bulloch Tid Bit's, produced by the Bulloch County Historical Society, available on Grice Connect. For decades, the police patch of Statesboro read, “Statesboro, The Tourist city.” Some of the first hotels were the Rushing Hotel, the Rountree Hotel and the Jaeckel Hotel. The Jaeckel and Rountree were built near the train depots.
