Who's ready to shout "HI-YAH!" with Grice Connect's Brandon Robinson? Come kick it out with Brandon as he learns some new Karate techniques at the Statesboro Karate School!

David Owen, Ph.D., will serve as the new Dean of the College of Arts and Humanities at Georgia Southern University.

The arena playing court at the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center, as well as a future baseball premium area (baseball project pending Board of Regents approval), will be named in honor of this substantial gift. The amount of the gift is tied for the largest in department history.

The Georgia Police K9 Foundation recently held its annual "An Evening for the K9's" fundraiser. The massively popular event attracted K9 supporters from across the nation (from 46 states to be exact!). The two-day fundraiser featured incredible entertainment and highlighted success stories which garnered financial wins for the local organization.

Ja'Kori Cope is a 15 year old rising sophomore at SHS and a summer intern with Grice Connect. He was selected to participate in the City of Statesboro's Youth Connect program. Over the next four weeks he will be writing a weekly story to share with you his experience at Grice Connect.

Construction and maintenance projects will continue Saturday, June 10 through Friday, June 16

The funding will go towards the department's VCRS Program.

The sculptures were designed by students and faculty of Georgia Southern’s Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art.
