City waste collection and transit routes to be impacted by storm
Some City services that operate on roadways will be impacted this week. There will be no residential waste collection on Wednesday, August 30, or Thursday, August 31. Sanitation services will resume on Friday, September 1, with collection of Wednesday's route. Thursday's route will be collected on Saturday, September 2. Statesboro Area Transit buses will not run on Wednesday, August 30.

Bulloch County Schools closed WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY
Due to the expected impact of Hurricane Idalia, Bulloch County Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30, and Thursday, Aug. 31, for all students and staff.
