EPD issues groundwater use permit for Bryan and Bulloch County water supply to mega-site

The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) has granted a groundwater use permit to the Bulloch County Board of Commissioners and Bryan County Board of Commissioners, allowing for a maximum monthly average of 3.5 million gallons of water per day each to be withdrawn from wells in southeastern Bulloch County. The permit will supply water to the Bryan County Industrial Mega-Site, including Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA), supporting significant regional development.
