Statesboro City Council gives the thumbs up for new fire station, moves ARPA funds into food bank
The Statesboro City Council approved the purchase of land for Fire Station #3, aiming to ease overcrowding and improve response times. They also shuffled $950,000 in ARPA funds to support housing rehab and the Statesboro Food Bank, with another $180,000 thrown in to finally get the food bank’s new building across the finish line.
