The Teal House presents the 2024 Teal Ribbon 5K & Fun Run benefiting the Teal House, which is Statesboro's sexual assault and child advocacy center. The event will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the S&S Greenway Pretoria Station Trailhead, with the Fun Run beginning at 8:30am and the 5K at 9am.

The Teal House is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that works with victims of sexual assault of all ages and victims of child abuse and/or neglect. The team includes forensic interviewers, victim advocates, and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE).
"This year our run is on April 13th" stated Lily Gray, Executive Director for The Teal House.
"April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Prevention month. It is our goal to reach people far and wide to provide insight and education about who we are, what we do, and how you can reach us for our services."
