Last week, Technique Dance Company held a 4-day Summer Dance Intensive for ages pre-K through 8th grade. The youngest dancers came to class for one hour each day and enjoyed learning new skills in the genres of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop and Tumbling. The older dance groups enjoyed two hour classes each day, and they learned new skills in the genres of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip-Hop.
Technique Dance Company was very fortunate to have such wonderful guest teachers to help facilitate this Intensive for the dancers. Guest instructors were Mrs. Ryan Marsh and Technique Dance Company alum Miss Madelyn Wolfe. Mrs. Marsh taught all dancers in Ballet and also did Tumbling with the youngest dancers, while Miss Wolfe taught all dancers new technique in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop.
Miss Wolfe has just completed a summer program with STEPS on Broadway in New York City and brought back so many wonderful things to teach the dancers. She will be headed back to the University of Georgia to complete her Senior Year with a Major in Dance Education.
