Did you know one-in-three teens in the U.S. will experience teen dating violence? And, only one third of teens experiencing abuse ever tell anyone about it.

Safe Haven is a program of Citizens Against Violence, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of family violence through prevention and education programs.

This month, the organization is hosting its annual art contest in honor of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.

For the contest, participants must print out the Safe Haven activity sheet and draw what a healthy relationship looks like.

Safe Haven will post photos of the entries on its social media. The winners will receive prizes from local businesses.

Art contest entries can be sent to [email protected] by Feb. 24. For more information, click here.

If you are interested in having a presentation about teen dating violence or healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, call Kim at (912) 259-9255.
