This year, Ogeechee Area Hospice will celebrate the organization's 30th Anniversary at its Annual Gala on Saturday, June 8th, from 6:30pm-10:30pm at The Venues at Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro.
A new band, The Vistas, will provide live entertainment, and guests can also enjoy the organization's famous silent auction and lots of good food catered by Statesboro’s own Blue Mile Catering. This year, OAH will also offer door prizes at the event, as their way of saying 'thank you' to community members for all of their support to Ogeechee Area Hospice for 30 years.
For the first time ever, OAH leaders are excited to be raffling off a 2024 Rev golf cart. For the past thirteen years, they have raffled a Kawasaki Mule, but this year they wanted to do something different and exciting. It seems that the community is excited also, as they have already had several people coming in to buy tickets.
Tickets for the golf cart raffle are just $10 each, and the winner will be announced at the gala, though you do not have to be present to win.
Ogeechee Area Hospice is ready to celebrate and show the community just how much they appreciate them for trusting the organization to care for their loved ones for the past thirty years. All proceeds from the gala and raffle will go to help take loving care of the patients and families served by OAH.
