Four products, Lockheed C-130J Super Hercules, da Vinci Surgical System, Midnight EVTOL, and Gulfstream Jets advanced to the semifinals of the Coolest Thing Made in Georgia. The outstanding companies made the semifinals following tremendous statewide engagement, with Georgians casting hundreds of thousands of votes in the inaugural Coolest Thing Made in Georgia contest.
The Coolest Thing Made in Georgia is a new statewide knockout-style competition, launched by the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and designed to celebrate Georgia’s outstanding innovators. Synovus proudly serves as the Presenting Sponsor of the Coolest Thing Made in Georgia.
The final round of voting for the Coolest Thing Made in Georgia is open at coolestthingmadeinga.com/voting until 11:30 PM on August 7. The two finalists will be invited to the Georgia Chamber’s Congressional Luncheon in Columbus on August 20, where the Coolest Thing Made in Georgia will be formally announced.
Hundreds of nominations were received for Coolest Thing Made in Georgia. After careful and thoughtful review, 64 of Georgia’s most innovative companies were entered into a randomly drawn bracket before being put to a vote by Georgians.
Georgians have closely watched the Coolest Thing Made in Georgia, including Governor Brian Kemp who commented on Twitter/X.
