Join Kennedy Pond Conservancy for Adult Color and Unwind on Sunday, July 7th, 2024 from 2-4pm. Meet at the 7th Mile Dining Hall for a relaxing afternoon of coloring.
Debbie VanOtteren, Education Director of Kennedy Pond, says, “The goal is to enjoy the serenity of the pond and relax while coloring.”
The organization plans to host the coloring opporunity on the first Sunday afternoon of every month.

"The vision is that people would make new friends while relaxing and enjoying the view,” says VanOtteren.
VanOtteren explains, "Coloring calms the brain, distracts from negative feelings, helps you be present in the moment, boosts creativity, and decreases anxiety. Basically, it helps you recall a simpler, happy time and encourages those feelings to extend to the present!"
Pairing coloring with a peaceful atmosphere is a wonderful way to reap all the benefits while connecting with nature.
