Highway 301 South resurfacing project begins July 7

Starting Monday, July 7, 2025, the Georgia Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing a 6.5-mile stretch of Highway 301 South (State Route 73), from Tillman Street (Blue Mile) to Highway 46. Reeves Construction Company will handle the project, which is scheduled to continue through November 30. Drivers should expect lane closures, slower speed limits, and potential delays. GDOT advises motorists to use caution in the area and consider alternate routes when possible.
