The Regional Industry Support Enterprise in partnership with International Paper, the City of Savannah, Chatham County, WorkSource Coastal and Savannah Technical College will host an eight-county (Bryan, Bulloch, Candler, Chatham, Effingham, Evans, Liberty and Screven) job fair Thursday, Sept. 11, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 12, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Enmarket Arena, 620 Stiles Ave.
The job fair is open to all job seekers, in particular International Paper and DS Smith employees. There are no parking fes at the arena.
“Job Palooza provides an important opportunity to connect all job seekers across our region, including those impacted by International Paper’s recent announcement regarding the closure of the Savannah and Riceboro plants,” said RISE President and CEO Anna Chafin.
Chafin went on to add, “Our goal is to support these individuals during this transition by connecting them with new opportunities and helping them continue to build strong futures here in our region.”

This expanded event is the largest multi-county hiring effort in Coastal Georgia, offering job seekers access to a wide range of career opportunities under one roof. Employers will be hiring for positions.
On-site interviews will be available, and attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume and dress professionally. In addition to meeting with hiring employers, job seekers can connect with workforce and community partners offering valuable tools and support for advancing their careers.
