Moneyville by VicTreeFi is a company dedicated to helping Girl Scouts of all ages earn badges virtually by providing an online platform and community where parents and troop leaders can complete live Zoom workshops, on-demand courses, and in-person project kits. This summer from May through August, Moneyville is excited to announce the return of their in-person workshops held in Forsyth Park in Savannah, GA where Girl Scouts can earn art-related badges.
Oyster Art and Outdoor Art Assemblage are two hands-on workshops offered at Forsyth Park this summer where Girl Scouts will decorate oysters harvested from local oyster beds in the Bull River harvest area and gather outdoor items from Forsyth Park to construct a bird’s nest.
These workshops are offered online too, so Girl Scouts who can’t make it in person can still join in on the fun and earn a badge. Girl Scouts will receive a Moneyville patch after completion of the workshop and then they can purchase a badge by visiting the Girl Scout Shop.
Chrissy Flemming, owner of Moneyville and former Girl Scout, noticed that many Girl Scouts and their guardians visit Savannah, GA during the summer to tour the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace. She wanted to create a unique experience for the Girls Scouts and their guardians. “We’re thrilled to bring our workshops to Forsyth Park this summer,” said Flemming. “It’s a fantastic way for Girl Scouts to experience Savannah, learn more about Girl Scouts and earn a badge”.
