Georgia HOPE is a community-based provider of mental health, substance use, and family preservation services in the state of Georgia. The organization opened a Statesboro office in the spring of this year, where it offers a unique set of services to our community.

For over 20 years, Georgia HOPE has been working directly with individuals, families, schools, the Department of Family & Children Services (DFCS), and the community to improve the mental health of residents throughout the State of Georgia.

Georgia HOPE's 3 Core Values are:

  • Make a way to utilize resources and stay solutions-focused with a commitment to overcoming barriers.
  • Act for the whole to demonstrate compassion towards team members and support staff wellness, while assisting the whole family unit.
  • Cultivate growth: commitment to the process of personal growth for the organization's clients, staff, and leadership.

Additionally, the organization offers Mental Health and Substance Use services, working primarily with DFCS, but also offers recovery and community-based services, which is open to general referrals from anyone within the community.

"We are the only provider in the state of Georgia for family center treatment," said Regional Director of Operations for Region 5 Southeast Georgia, Misty Andrews. "Our mental health services aim to treat the entire family unit as a whole. Mental health services remain important to our community because having external support systems is important for each of us to grow and develop as individuals and families. Georgia HOPE is thankful for the mental health collaboration and the community collaboration we have with the Bulloch County School System. We are also thankful for the phenomenal support from the Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber of Commerce for our organization."
