Downtown Christmas Holiday Celebration
Arguably the most anticipated First Friday event of the year, this Friday is the Downtown Christmas Holiday Celebration! Everyone in the family will have something to be excited about! Kids 5-12 can enter the Vyve Christmas Card Contest, adults can mosey around local vendors for Christmas shopping and the whole family can enjoy Chili Town. The Downtown Christmas Holiday Celebration is held outside of the Bulloch County Courthouse. Festivities start at 5:30 pm and go until 8:00 pm.
Charlie's Funky Junk Warehouse Sale
Speaking of Christmas shopping, everyone should check out Charlie's Funky Junk Warehouse Sale this weekend! It is truly the best place to find the most unique, vintage gifts for loved ones this holiday season! The inventory ranges from furniture and tools to items from estate sales. The sale begins Friday morning and goes until 6:00pm. They will also be open Saturday 9:00 am-3:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. The warehouse is located at 31 West Main Street.
GSU Planetarium Presents "Let it Snow"
Anyone who has been to a GSU Planetarium show knows that is an exciting experience! This holiday season the GSU Planetarium is showing "Let It Snow" A Holiday Music Journey. It's a great time for children and adults alike. The screenings last approximately 30 minutes and are held throughtout the day on Saturday, December 2nd. General Admission is $4. Tickets can be bought online here. The Planetarium is also accepting unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots.
All Fired Up Sale
Interested in checking out local art and shopping small for holiday gifts? All Fired Up is a winter exhibition and sale for ceramics, jewelry and fine art. You can find all sorts of creations for everyone on your list! The All Fired Up sale takes place at the Roxie Remley Center at 33 East Vine Sreet. They are open Friday until 8:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
The Gift of Christmas - The Choirs of Georgia Southern
Join the Fred and Dinah Gretsch School of Music and Statesboro First United Methodist this Sunday, December 3rd for The Gift of Christmas. This annual choral Christmas service features the choirs of Georgia Southern University. There will be one service at 3:00 pm and one at 6:00 pm.
