Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office confirms ICE activity Friday morning

Rumors of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in the Statesboro area Friday morning, June 6, were confirmed by the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office. According to the sheriff's office, deputies assisted ICE agents with activity earlier in the day, and the federal team left the area between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m.

While specific details were not provided, officials stated that a "few" individuals were taken into custody and transported to Savannah for further processing.
