Get ready to sink your teeth into a week of ocean-themed excitement—Shark Week is returning to the Georgia Southern University Museum from July 13 through July 19!
With a lineup of hands-on activities, special guests, an evening of science and beer with shark researchers, and even a poolside movie night, there’s something for shark lovers of all ages to enjoy.
"Our annual Shark Week is back to make a big splash in your summer! Starting July 13th, there are events all week! Come to the museum to learn new Shark-themed facts, engage in activities with our community partners and scientists, hear a story and get a picture with Gerty the shark, paint your own replica Megalodon tooth, grab a beer (for the adults) and hear about some active shark research down at Eagle Creek Brewing Co, and come watch Shark Tale at the Recreation Activity Center (RAC) pool with your family and enjoy a sweet treat from Boro Snow!"
Admission is $4 per person, with children 3 and under free! (Please note: A paid entry wristband from a Shark Week event is required for admission to Saturday night's free poolside showing of Shark Tale.)
