Council Member Phil Boyum announces resignation and calls for special election for District 1 on November 7th

The City of Statesboro Council Member, Phil Boyum, of District 1 announces his resignation during the "Other Business from City Council" portion of the agenda. Boyum calls for a special election for District 1 on November 7th, to run concurrently with the regular election. Other matters at the city council meeting included the City of Statesboro preparing public hearing dates for public comments on the millage rate increase.
