East Georgia State Bobcat basketball tips off Nov. 10th
East Georgia State College Athletics invites the Swainsboro and Statesboro communities to come enjoy the excitement and fast pace of college basketball when the Lady Bobcats host their home opener on November 10th at 3:00 p.m. against Southern Union College. Both the men’s and women’s basketball teams will play on November 15th at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in a huge double-header against the University of South Carolina-Salkehatchie.

Kemp renews State of Emergency and extends state gas tax suspension
The State of Emergency and the gas tax suspension will remain in effect until 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 29, 2023. According to AAA, the average cost of a gallon of regular gas in Georgia is currently $2.89, 51 cents below the national average.
