About 60 percent of current Covid outbreaks in Georgia are occurring in K-12 schools across the state, public health officials said Tuesday.

The federal government has changed the way COVID-19 monoclonal antibody treatments will be distributed in the United States, including Georgia. The decision announced Monday, September 13th by the U.S.

GA DPH is reporting 6 more Bulloch County citizens have died of COVID since yesterday's report. That brings the total number of COVID deaths in Bulloch to 153. EGRMC has 58 COVID patients in the hospital.

EGRMC has 60 COVID patients in the hospital. 21 EGRMC patients are sick enough to require vents. ALL of the 13 Region J hospitals, including EGRMC ICU's are at capacity.

DPH also reported 2 additional COVID deaths since yesterday. That brings the total number of Bulloch County Citizens who have died of COVID to 147. Since August 1st, in just ten weeks, we have lost 25 Bulloch County citizens to COVID.

Since it hit the United States a year and a half ago, the Covid pandemic has led to several significant shortages in the care of patients, from personal protective equipment to hospital personnel.

EGRMC has 65 COVID patients in the hospital. 18 are sick enough to require ventilators. GA DPH reported 7,601 PCR COVID positive cases and 3,003 antigen/rapid test positives today. That is a total increase of 32 since yesterday.
