Evans Memorial Hospital is proud to introduce Stephanie Griffin as its new director of Patient Care Services.

Griffin grew up in Bloomingdale, Georgia, and at the age of nineteen started working at Candler Hospital, registering patients. It was there that she fell in love with the medical field and soon after started nursing school.

After finishing nursing school, Griffin began her career as an RN in the Emergency Department at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, Georgia. Throughout her career, Griffin has held numerous leadership positions in the behavioral health sector.

When asked what drew her to EMH, Griffin replied: "A colleague of mine worked here and raved about the team at EMH, then I moved 10 minutes away, so it was a no-brainer!"

Griffin has been with Evans Memorial for two years.

"We are thankful to have her as a part of the Evans Memorial Hospital family and are excited to see her achieve great things in her new role," the hospital administration said in a statement.

Outside the hospital, Griffin can be found spending time with her family and in the kitchen baking.
