The City of Statesboro is accepting applications for appointments to its One Boro Commission. The commission appointments are for two-year terms. The deadline to apply to be considered for an appointment is September 19, 2022, at 5:00 pm.
Completed applications should be submitted to the office of the City Clerk by fax at 912-764-8258 or by email to [email protected].

The One Boro Commission, formerly the Commission on Diversity and Inclusion, was established in September 2018 and consists of 12 members appointed by the Statesboro Mayor and City Council. The commission is committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity among the citizens of Statesboro.
The ultimate goal of the commission is to foster innovation, community awareness and ownership of public policy while also seeking to improve experiences for every citizen of Statesboro through open communication and collaboration. The One Boro commission currently meets virtually on the first Monday of each month via Zoom.
