Georgia Southern grad and current contestant on NBC's The Voice, Bryce Leatherwood, will play a benefit concert in Statesboro on Friday, October 21, at 7pm.

Hendley Properties is sponsoring the concert, which will be held at The Barn at Olde Homeplace, located at 924 Johnny Brannen Rd. Tickets are $10, with sales benefiting Ginny Hendley and Paul Schwertfeger's fundraising efforts for Dancing with the Statesboro Stars. The local dance competition supports Safe Haven.

Leatherwood is originally from Woodstock and graduated from Georgia Southern last May. He was an instant hit on the show, managing to get three of the four judges to "turn their chairs" during his audition. Leatherwood joined Team Blake Shelton.

"I met Bryce, who’s currently on The Voice, at a local show and knew instantly Hendley Properties had to have him preform to raise money for Safe Haven," Hendley said. "I’m honored to dance in this year’s Dancing with the Statesboro Stars, which raises funds and awareness for domestic violence survivors.”

Ginny Hendley is a native of Statesboro, where she works as the Property Manager of Hendley Properties. She heads up the daily logistics and maintenance of over 400 homes around town.

She serves as a member of the First Baptist Church Choir of Statesboro, as well as being a dedicated member of the local Rotary chapter. Ginny is a founding member of WIN, a local women’s group known for women inspiring and networking.

To purchase tickets, text 912-682-7284, Venmo Ginny with "Bryce Leatherwood" as the note, or drop by the Hendley Properties office at 21 Greenbriar, across from EGRMC.
