The City of Statesboro's Statesboro Community Youth Network and Restoring the Breach will host a free Community Health Fair this Saturday, October 15, from 2-6pm at the Honey Bowen Building.
The event will feature free health screenings and medicines, free food, free arts and crafts, music, and giveaways.
East Georgia Healthcare Center (EGHC) will be the primary healthcare provider for the event. Their Statesboro office is located at 1570 Brampton Avenue.
EGHC has a mobile healthcare van that will allow medical professionals to be on-site and perform screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, hemoglobin, BMI, and more. EGHC will also provide health education and limited over the counter medicines.
Other vendors at the event will include Amerigroup Health Insurance, Acceptance Insurance, and the Georgia Mom's Project.
