The Statesboro Greener Boro Commission is inviting local residents to discuss important local issues while enjoying a beverage and hors d'oeuvres.
The commission will host Happy Hour in the Garden at the Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University on April 13.
The event will allow commission members to share information and ideas about the future of Statesboro.
An open discussion will be held among participants with opportunities for input on topics such as:
- Green space
- Waste reduction
- Clean energy
- Transportation
The event will run from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The garden is located at 1503 Bland Avenue in Statesboro.
