Easter eggs will be hidden across the Georgia Southern campus later this month as a number of the university’s sororities host a spring fling event.
“Several chapters in the Greek community are hosting a Greek Spring Fling in Sweetheart Circle for Statesboro locals to bring their families and enjoy fun spring activities such as an Easter egg hunt, inflatables, face painting, an Easter bunny, a grill out, and more,” said Mary Taylor vice president of communities with the Phi Mu sorority.
The Greek Spring Fling will be held on March 25 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Sweetheart Circle on the Statesboro campus. The Easter egg hunt will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will go to Fostering Families Inc, a Bulloch County foster care organization.
“We as Greek life are just looking for a way to give back to the Statesboro community,” Taylor said.
Event organizers hope to make the spring fling an annual event. For more information, click here.
