University of Georgia celebrates Bulloch graduates in the Class of 2023

The fall undergraduate ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on Dec. 15, while the graduate ceremony will commence at 2 p.m. on the same day.

The University of Georgia will celebrate more than 2,900 candidates for graduation in the Class of 2023 during upcoming Commencement ceremonies. The fall undergraduate ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, while the fall graduate ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15.

Among the students graduating this year include:

  • Jonathan Lumpkin of Statesboro (30458)
  • Suyeon Oh of Statesboro (30461)
  • Stephen Rogers of Statesboro (30458)
  • Jordan Rosengart of Brooklet (30415)
  • Chadrick Wright of Statesboro (30458)

"We are delighted to celebrate the incredible achievements of our University of Georgia students in the Class of 2023," said President Jere W. Morehead. "Commencement offers students, friends and families an opportunity to recognize the tireless dedication UGA students have shown during their time on campus. We look forward to seeing all the great things these students will go on to do as alumni of the University of Georgia."

Harold Alonza Black, emeritus professor of finance at the University of Tennessee and notable University of Georgia alumnus, will deliver the fall undergraduate Commencement address. Dale Greene, who has served as the dean of UGA's Daniel B. Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources since 2015, will deliver the address at the graduate ceremony.
