Bulloch County Schools is rolling out its beloved Book Bus once again this summer, bringing free books and a love of reading to children across the county.
The mobile literacy initiative will make several stops throughout June, giving children the opportunity to board the bus and choose age-appropriate books to take home and keep—because, as the program promises, "adventure, fun, and friends are waiting on every page."

Launched in May 2019, the Book Bus was created to ensure that all children in the community have access to books in a fun, inviting way. Since its launch, the Book Bus has helped distribute more than 40,000 books, thanks to strong community support and local partnerships.
By promoting reading during the summer months, the program aims to help children retain literacy skills while also building a positive relationship with books and learning.
