GS to recognize ten Bulloch teachers with Extra Yard grants at football game Saturday

The Eagles will recognize a total of 20 area teachers who will receive $250 classroom grants on the field Saturday in the game against UAB. Teachers from Portal Elementary, Statesboro High, Sallie Zetterower Elementary, Julia P. Bryant Elementary, Langston Chapel Elementary, Brooklet Elementary, and SEB are among the recipients.

Bulloch BOE completes second round of tax hearings and will vote Friday at noon

After six total public hearings the Bulloch Board of Education will vote Friday, September 8th at 12 noon at the Board of Education complex. Bulloch County Board of Commissioners are scheduled to meet at 3 PM to adopt the BOE millage rate.

All Bulloch County schools & offices will resume a normal schedule on Friday, September 1. Parents should expect bus route delays and caution student drivers. Principals will work with families if isolated conditions cause absences.
