Tralayia Prince, Statesboro community organizer, will be holding a coat drive on Saturday, November 25, 2023. The coat drive will be taking place at a lot near Autozone ( 2555 Northside Drive W ), from 9 am until 2 pm.
Tralayia said, "I decided to organize this drive because I see so many kids who need coats and jackets. My primary focus for distribution of the coats will be in the Morris Heights community."
Tralayia has plans to organize several other events in 2024 and these events will be targeting Statesboro District 1 community.
Tralayia grew up in this area and she is dedicated to making sure it continues to be a great place to live.
Her goal is to collect at least 50 coats and jackets. She is asking the public to please donate clean and well-conditioned coats of all sizes.
