Some may find it difficult to attend a traditional Christmas Eve service because of the crowds, noise, or other challenges, so this year Pittman Park United Methodist Church is offering a new option for worship. In addition to their annual Candlelight Christmas Eve services, they are offering a Quiet Christmas service at noon. It will be a simple and brief service with scripture, prayer, and Communion. The venue will be their small chapel, rather than the large sanctuary.
Pastor Jonathan Smith says, “Jesus is the Prince of Peace, and we want this service to be a peaceful place to encounter Christ on this special day.”
Pittman Park is located at 1102 Fair Road. For more information about the church or to view archived worship services, visit pittmanpark.org.
