Patterson's Station 67 becomes Santa's Station with free events this week and next

Patterson's will host a Design Your Own Ornament event on Wednesday, December 14, and a Cookie Decorating party on Wednesday, December 21. The events are free to attend.

For a while, it will seem like Patterson's Station 67 is “Santa’s Station.”

In fact, the restaurant, at 26 Independence Way in Statesboro, will be having several holiday events this week and the next.

First, look for the Freedom Place shopping center sign to find the restaurant and festive activities that will not break the bank. Ahead of the events, the place already looks festive. The owners and employees have already wrapped the front of the restaurant with garland and hung large snowflakes there.

River Scarborough of Patterson's Station 67 said, “It is free to attend the events.”

Patterson's Station 67 to Host Design Your Own Ornament Event

The restaurant, which is already decorated for the holidays, will host a time to design your own ornament Wednesday, Dec. 14, from 5-8pm. All materials will be provided, and all ages are welcome.

Restaurant to Host Free Cookie Decorating Event

Next, on Wednesday, Dec. 21, the restaurant will host free cookie decorating from 5-8pm.

River said, “Cookies, icing, and sprinkles will be provided.” Again, all ages are welcome.

River added (within reason) they are not going to place a lot of limits on the amount of cookies that can be decorated.

The spokesperson said they have had the holiday events in previous years.

This year, they decorated their mini-arcade area with a Christmas tree and have stockings hung on bottles across from the bar area.

The Restaurant Regularly Hosts Events

River also said they have regular non-holiday events at the restaurant. However, they will not be having a New Year’s Eve event there.

“No, we close at 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve and have regular business hours on New Year's Day,” River said.

Finally, River said they may be having some events in early 2023, and Grice Connect will bring you information on those as well, as it becomes available.
