ACTION FIGURES GET IN ON THE ACTION AT MEL BROOKS' "YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN" RAFFLE DRAWING

On Tuesday night, Frazier gave background information on the raffle, "Galactic Comics and Games happened to have action figures of these very two characters from Mel Brooks' original film 'Young Frankenstein' ."

He next pointed to the performers beside him on stage. Also, the action figures and some vouchers were placed before him on a table on the stage. In addition, Igor stood behind an abnormal or "Abby Normal" brain and a skull -- possibly from Dr. Frankenstein's ancestor's laboratory. He also has his lantern ready to descend into the dark depths.

Frazier continued, "We hit upon the notion of creating a raffle to raffle of these two action figures, two tickets to our performances this week, two popcorn vouchers, and two soda vouchers."

Frazier then announced, "So tonight is the big drawing…"

Next, Igor, in character, crouched a little and shook the hat with the raffle tickets. He gazed upon it with Igor's googly-eyed look. Frazier then drew out the name.

He next handed it to Dr. Frankenstein. Dr. Frankenstein then read the name in a formal way like he was calling the roll for his medical students: "Felicia Dunn".

Frazier then said, "Felcia Dunn, congratulations! You will receive all of these prizes… and we hope you (and the audience of the Facebook Live video and others) will join us for our show."

The Averitt Center for the Arts also posted on their Facebook page, "CONGRATULATIONS Felicia Dunn! Ticket # 7802534 you have won the Monster Raffle!!!!!!"

Finally, Frazier ended, "(The production of Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein") is Oct. 13, 14, and 15 at 7:30 p.m. here at the Emma Kelley Theater and Sunday, Oct. 16 at 3 p.m. Thank you!"
