Emma Waters, the 2022 Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair Queen, was crowned the 2023 Miss Georgia and South Carolina Fairs Queen on Saturday, January 28, 2023.
In addition, Emma also voted by her peers as Miss Congeniality.
The 2023 Miss Georgia/South Carolina Fairs Pageant was held during the 2023 Georgia Association of Agricultural Fairs/South Carolina Association of Fairs Convention in Greenville, S.C.
There were ten constantans representing some of Georgia and South Carolina's largest and most successful fairs.
Emma Waters, a native of Glennville, is a Junior at Georgia Southern University. She is the 21 year old daughter of Marky and Tracy Waters.
Emma has a long list of accomplishments including participating in the Disney College Program and a Soapbox Derby racing champion ranking 18th in the world.
She is a psychology major at GS and hopes to obtain a masters in psychology through Disney's Aspire program.
Emma is one of the hardest working Kiwanis Fair Queens we have worked with at Grice Connect. She spent countless hours at the Fair making it even more special for so many of the children who attended.
We congratulate Emma on this wonderful honor and are grateful to have her representing the Kiwanis Club and our community in such a terrific way.
